The company


Resourceful Recruitment has been engaged exclusively by a leading Australian energy company are committed and heavily invested in being a leader in the energy transition.


To be a leading organisation, they require a Future Fuels Manager to lead the development of a multi-year Alternative Fuels strategy, driving the transition to a lower carbon economy through the development of biofuels and alternative fuels revenue streams.


Your role
***You will be responsible for leading the diversification of the Future Fuels business by evaluating economic feasibility, executing trials and pilots, and transitioning initiatives to existing business units.

The roles responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership and accountability for developing the Alternative Fuels strategy from business case to execution
  • Collaborate with executives and existing business units
  • Staying informed of industry trends and identify potential partners
  • Leading market analysis and investment evaluations
  • Opportunity identification and project origination
  • Working with the technology and engineering team to evaluate opportunities
  • Ability to engage with and influence government stakeholders and being seen as a trusted counterparty
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading crossfunctional teams and managing external stakeholders


This company have the asset infrastructure and customer base to be able to bring these alternative fuels to market AT SCALE.


Your background and experience

  • Working knowledge of New Energy market, consumer behaviours, government policy, and competition landscape
  • Tenacious
  • Collaborative
  • Accountable
  • Experience presenting to executives and a relevant bachelor's degree
  • Indepth commercial business development experience in alternative fuels and energy transition
