We have an exciting 12 months contract opportunity for an accomplished Innovation Project Manager with strong NPD and project management experience. In this role, the successful candidate will have direct responsibility for driving and executing all Innovation Projects across the Future Growth portfolio, working across all channels, including Retail, Foodservice, and QSR, managing the existing innovation projects and future pipeline.

About the role

  • Responsible for the commercialization of Savoury Bites innovation projects
  • Drive executional excellence across all projects
  • Leadership of cross-functional project teams to deliver innovation to agreed launch dates
  • Assess and communicate the feasibility/risks of all projects
  • Implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans
  • Create and communicate project timelines and critical milestones
  • Ensure accurate input into Stage & Gate processes
  • Concise and clear presentation of projects to the Innovation Leadership Team
  • Help to build new McCain Innovation Management process within Australia
  • Strive for collaborative relationships within the broader team

About you

  • 2+ years experience in product management (essential)
  • Ideally experience within FMCG, Food Manufacturing
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, ever-changing ambiguous environments, while maintaining accountability
  • High degree of tenacity and persistence to achieve outcomes on schedule
  • Effective written and communication skills are essential
  • Responds well to pressure, often working autonomously
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
