Brisbane-based Water Systems Team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Design Manager (water/wastewater engineering background) .


You will play a pivotal role in leading all aspects of successful project delivery for our clients, supported by our team of passionate engineers, planners, designers, technical specialists and management.


This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment supported by respected leaders in their field

You will:

  • Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary, highperformance teams delivering major water & wastewater infrastructure projects we have nationally significant projects underway and commencing with opportunities to be involved
  • Managing and delivering high quality technical outcomes autonomously and as part of a team, including investigation, analysis and design tasks to support water and wastewater transfer and treatment system detailed planning and design
  • Working with great clients, harboring ongoing relationships to define and deliver their water and wastewater system solutions
  • Leading and contributing to winning work and marketled innovative offerings
  • Managing time and resources to achieve financial targets within projects with respect to new work and chargeable time.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Engineering Degree and have attained, or be progressing towards, Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) status
  • Greater than 5 years' industry experience, ideally in a consultancy environment
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure and associated works
  • Established Project Management experience and either previous experience in multidisciplinary team leadership management, or a strong desire to step into a design/project management role.
