About the role
The Regional Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of operations, including labour management, productivity, customer satisfaction, and safety. They will represent the company in regulatory matters and drive operational procedures and systems improvements.


As the Regional Operations Manager, you will lead the division across Queensland, New South Wales and Northern Territory, to achieve goals and key performance indicators, emphasising financial performance, client experience, team motivation, compliance, preventative maintenance, workforce planning, and growth strategies.


Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee daytoday operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services.
  • Optimise labour and resources to meet operational demands effectively.
  • Address escalated complaints and quality issues promptly to maintain service excellence.
  • Take ownership of revenue, gross margin, overheads, and base profit budgets.
  • Implement strategic financial management practices to enhance profitability and productivity.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and efficient budget management.
  • Drive the Net Promoter Score (NPS) by cultivating strong client relationships.
  • Foster customer loyalty and satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with preventative maintenance obligations and relevant legislation.
  • Encourage collaboration and teamwork to enhance productivity and morale.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive growth strategies and expansion opportunities.
  • Develop effective reporting strategies for monitoring operational performance.
  • Formulate comprehensive budgetary plans and ensure accurate and timely budget management.
  • Implement workforce planning principles to optimise field performance and resource utilisation.
  • Collaborate with other managers and leaders to ensure successful project delivery.

As a minimum you must have:

  • A high level of communication skills (oral and written)
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Experience with HVAC systems and comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and components
  • Strategic thinker with a solutionsoriented approach
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
  • Ability to bridge workforce planning and service delivery despite conflicting priorities
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively inspire and guide the team
  • Ability to develop and deliver operational delivery and margin improvement strategies
  • Empowers others and encourages participation, resolving conflicts constructively
  • Flexibility to travel when required
