Ramsay Clinic Albert Road requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated
DBT Group Facilitator to be part of an exciting opportunity working with adults delivering outpatient Dialectical Behavioural Therapy programs including individual therapy and/or group sessions.
This position will see you undertaking the following responsibilities**:
- Facilitate dialectical behaviour therapy, on a group and individual basis
- Liaise cooperatively and effectively within the multidisciplinary team to provide integrated assessments and case management plans for patients
Your Essential Skills and Experience
- Has prior experience in facilitating group therapy using Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and / or an interest in developing these skills.
- Has previous experience in facilitating 1:1 individual therapy, although not required
- Qualifications in a relevant speciality of Allied health or Nursing e.g. Psychology, Social Worker or OT
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be selfmotivated and work independently whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Has experience managing challenging behaviours in a group setting
