We currently have a new opportunity for as Engineering Data Analyst within our Maritime Sustainment business, based in Garden Island, NSW.

Your new role:


In your new role, as the Engineering Data Analyst you will contribute to the Configuration Management (CM) practises for the project in accordance with the company processes, the project Configuration Management Plan (CMP).


Key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring that data and documentation related to a Product is captured in the CM System and that the approval status of the data and documentation is correct
  • Managing all affected CM data / metadata is accurate, current and complete
  • Processing documentation and data in the CM system has the proper organisation and categorisations
  • Ensuring that approved documentation, including engineering drawings, is linked in the CM system to the correct part in the Product Breakdown Structure
  • Providing support with efficient, high quality scanning, printing and/or plotting of documentation as required
  • Maintaining of the register of classified information
  • Preparing the preparation and delivery of CM data deliverables to the Customer
  • Managing receipt and processing of data deliverables from Suppliers, Subcontractors or the Customer
  • Assisting in identifying and resolving CM problems, and particularly any related to Data & Documentation Control
  • Responding to actions from the Configuration Control Board, as required
  • Contributing in the preparation of Project Work Instructions relating to Data Management
  • Communicating effectively within the CM team raising issues to relevant stakeholders in an objective, professional and timely manner
  • Responsible for the protection and handling of classified information under Configuration
  • Demonstrated configuration management and data management experience
  • Previous experience using CMTU and Jira
  • The ability to prioritise and manage personal activities, and those of subordinate staff, to meet schedules
  • Selfmotivated and works effectively under mínimal supervision
  • Strong Stakeholder engagement experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • NV1 clearance ideally, or be a citizen with the ability to gain security clearance.

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
