With demonstrated experience in civil projects and contract management you will play a pivotal role in project delivery in line with the City's policies, frameworks, industry best practice and codes.

You should have excellent communication and time management skills, and a valid 'C' class Australian driver's licence. Local Government experience preferred but not essential.

  • Degree, diploma or trade qualification relevant to the position or project management
  • Welldeveloped administrative and practical experience in civil construction
  • Demonstrated experience in managing contractors
  • Experience with financial management of multidisciplinary projects covering budgeting, cost control and reporting requirements
  • Experience in the production of high quality tender documents such as project scopes, specifications, contracts and estimates
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills, particularly verbal communication
  • Strong consultation and negotiation skills with the ability to engage an array of stakeholders
  • Competent in implementation of and reviewing Work Health and Safety practices and documentation
This position offers a gross salary of
$98,711 per annum (
incl.

super), and:

  • The option to cocontribute up to a further 5% superannuation
