About the Position:

Daw Park, a thriving 96-place centre, has successfully operated with a Centre Manager alone. However, recognizing the need for continued growth, we are introducing the Assistant Centre Manager role.

In this Assistant Centre Manager, role you will predominantly be on the floor, supporting the Centre Manager in various aspects of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Centre Manager in exceeding financial and occupancy targets.
  • Contribute to the consistent implementation of the Guardian Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive culture aligned with Guardian's vision and values.
  • Collaborate on staff recruitment, development, and training.
  • Maintain high standards in Centre presentation and operations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Experience working as a qualified educator within the early years' sector
  • Diploma level (or above) qualification in early years' education
  • Valid Working with Children's Check or statespecific equivalent
  • Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Thorough knowledge of the responsibilities of all educators and staff under the current Child Protection laws
  • Extensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework
  • Current knowledge of contemporary early years thinking and practice
