About the role:


When it comes to leadership you will be responsible for providing effective leadership and direction to the payroll team, This includes build the skills, knowledge and capability of the team to help them achieve their career goals.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a multi-discipline team with a focus on accuracy and service delivery.
  • Handson management style with experience in leading an end to end payroll function, working with key stakeholders at multiple levels of the organisation.
  • Strong leadership ability, well developed interpersonal skills, team building and change readiness skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an excellent attention to detail and excellent communication and written skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills, interpretation, and analysis of complex calculations, including high level of investigative, analysis and interpretation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of Human Resource organisational policies and practices, general payroll practices, procedures, operations, legislation, and payroll compliance.
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Management, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources would be advantageous.
