Duties include (but not limited to):
- Develop health, safety and wellbeing strategy and implement and review strategy initiatives to improve safety and wellbeing outcomes
- This is a highly autonomous role providing hands on
- Conduct WHS audits, inspections, investigations, risk assessments and assist Leadership to maintain current and comprehensive risk registers
- Prepare reports on the current health, safety and wellbeing strategy and potential issues with performance and compliance and provide recommendations for improvements as appropriate.
- Build successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the business to promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture.

Do you have what it takes
- Indepth knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, associated Codes of Practice and the Building Fire Safety Regulation (as current)
- The ability to schedule and prioritise work is
- Tertiary qualifications at degree level in health and safety or a lowerlevel qualification with significant proven experience in health and safety.
- An accredited WHS Auditor qualification or near completion is preferable.
- Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (desirable).
- Fire Safety Advisor qualification (or willingness to complete).
- Current/valid Queensland Driver's Licence and eligibility to work within Australia
- Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card or ability to obtain prior to commencing
