This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner at our Melbourne FRC center.

Under the guidance of the Senior Manager Melbourne MFRC & Therapeutic Services, you will be a certified Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) Practitioner working alongside our team of highly skilled practitioners providing FDR services to couples going through separation. You will assist in resolving disputes related to parenting arrangements, property settlements, and developing parenting plans.

Your main responsibilities include delivering conflict resolution, providing parent education, facilitating negotiation processes, conducting assessments and mediations, engaging in group activities when necessary, offering information, support, and appropriate referrals to align with the specific needs of the individuals.

The ideal candidate MUST possess a Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution.

This role is available on a permanent full-time or part-time basis, working four days a week at our Melbourne Family Relationship Centre in Melbourne CBD, with one evening shift required per week.

About You

  • Hold a degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or Family Law.
  • Have a Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution.
  • Be accredited as an FDRP by the Attorney-General's Department.
  • Possess prior experience in FDRP (preferred).
  • Training or experience in property mediation, with the ability to undergo training if necessary (ideal).
  • Experience or training in Child Inclusive Practice is desirable.

The base salary range for this role is $92k-$99k (pro rata) per annum.
