Position Requirement


An Electrical/Mechanical Apprentice Fitter will gain the technical skills for electrical/mechanical services work relating to jobs in the workshop and on-site as the business requires, learning from industry experienced personnel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Training within Service/Repair and refurbishment of Electrical motors and Mechanical machinery which are predominantly based in NSW.
  • Training in Retrofitting of existing equipment with VSD's, PLC's and electrical switchgear.
  • Training in Mechanical Fitting and Machining works Or Electrical works (motor, pump & gear box service) for service jobs, based in our workshop.
  • Training in motor rewinding
  • Strong understanding, focus and commitment on Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
  • Maintaining the QA requirements and maintain the highest level of workmanship quality.

Suitable Qualifications:

  • Higher School Certificate (HSC) qualification.
  • Australian Driver's License.

Requirements:

  • High degree of initiative and motivation.
  • Technical Aptitude
  • Proven attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.

  • Good organisational skills
  • An eye for detail
  • Good communicator
  • Good analytical and fiscal skills.
