Are you looking for an opportunity to take your experience and knowledge in Parks and Gardens to the next level? As a Parks Supervisor, you will use your leadership and communication skills, along with your in-depth working knowledge of all things parks and gardens to lead a small team in providing first-class facilities for the community.


Essential:

  • Tafe Certificate of trade in Horticulture/Green keeping/Landscaping and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledge of garden day labour work teams and supervisory skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape design documentation
  • Have obtained or have the ability to obtain and maintain:
  • General Construction Induction training card (Whitecard)
  • Safe WorkNSW Select/modify traffic control plans
  • Safe Work NSW implement traffic control
  • Desirable:
  • Frontline Management certificate
  • Have obtained or have the ability to obtain and maintain:
  • Safe Work NSW Prepare a work zone traffic management plan
  • AQF4 or equivalent
- _ To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs._
