As a Parks Supervisor, you will use your leadership and communication skills, along with your in-depth working knowledge of all things parks and gardens to lead a small team in providing first-class facilities for the community.

• Tafe Certificate of trade in Horticulture/Green keeping/Landscaping and/or relevant industry experience.
• Knowledge of garden day labour work teams and supervisory skills
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to read and interpret landscape design documentation
• Have obtained or have the ability to obtain and maintain:
• General Construction Induction training card (Whitecard)
• Safe WorkNSW Select/modify traffic control plans
• Safe Work NSW implement traffic control

• Frontline Management certificate
• Have obtained or have the ability to obtain and maintain:
• Safe Work NSW Prepare a work zone traffic management plan
• AQF4 or equivalent
• To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs._
