The Role


We are looking for a skilled and energetic Bartender to join our new team in Chatswood on a part-time basis.

As a Bartender, you will work directly with a diverse group of customers by mixing and serving drink orders. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong knowledge of modern and classic alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Create a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Stay guest focused and nurture a pleasant guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Ensure the bar area is kept clean at all times and that cups/utensils are clean before use
  • Replenish stock and maintain the organisation of the bar area
  • Operate a coffee machine and brew various types of coffee
  • Support with takeaway orders
  • Help out other staff members as needed during shift

Who are you?

Skillset and experience:

  • A minimum of 1year experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of drinkmixing, garnishing and serving skills
  • RSA Certification
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus
  • Coffee art techniques would be an advantage (but not essential)
  • Ability to keep the bar organised, stocked and clean
  • Proven abilities in time management and customer service
  • A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
