Mandatory Requirements:

  • First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Valid Driver's License and comprehensive car insurance.

The shifts may include:

  • Personal care.
  • Community access (transport to appointments and/or shopping).
  • Social Support.
  • Meal preparation and medication assistance.
  • General domestic tasks.

Required qualities:

  • Professional approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Display a commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Values of AHS.
  • Ensure that the AHS Code of Conduct is adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure that all policies, procedures, and work practices are adhered to at all times.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and build collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to multitask and work flexibly in responding to various needs of the customer.
  • Proven ability in case of management or in undertaking GP management plans.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise & manage daytoday activities in an efficient manner.

Skills & competencies:

  • Has experience and knowledge of using hoists.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or its equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Ability to follow an individualised plan to provide personcentred support.
  • Experience with highintensity care is highly desirable.
