Job scope:

We are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor - Polyurethane to be based out of our Pinkenba offices as part of our production, manufacturing, processing and storage.

How will you help us achieve this:

  • Leads the work of multiple individual contributors typically with same or similar area of work
  • Ensures relevant checks are performed using checklist, prior to starting equipment and for running equipment
  • Responsible for the start-up and operation of equipment (e.g. crusher) machines used in production processes
  • Determines and corrects machine malfunctions of high complexity
  • Oversees clearing of hopper blockages as per the safety procedures
  • Ensures throughput and quality standards are achieved
  • Liaises with key stakeholders in the event of any production stoppages
  • Provides training and learning opportunities for less experienced colleagues
  • Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company's operational activities
