Job Description

As our industry leading business continues to expand, so do opportunities within our production facility in Banyo. We currently have a position available for an experienced food production supervisor to join our morning Production Team. The ideal applicant will have minimum 5 years supervisory experience working within a food manufacturing environment and will have a proven background in leading their team to deliver exceptional quality and results each day. You are a passionate leader who enjoys the challenges of working in a fast-paced factory environment and who is capable of making changes towards continuous improvement, whilst adapting to a growing and evolving organisation.

About you:

  • experience coordinating and liaising with various departments to meet desired production outcomes
  • the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • able to work between 5:00 to 13:06, Monday to Friday
  • foster a positive work environment that motivates staff and promotes collaboration
  • work in cool temperature control environments
  • the ability to work within strict food quality standards and guidelines

The role:

  • daily management of your area and team members including:-
    • leading by example in following all company procedures, using safe work practices and setting high safety standards (HACCP controls and GMP)
    • performance management of employees
    • mentor and support team members
    • managing tight deadlines and fluctuating demands
  • organising daily and weekly rostering for your team
  • conduct scheduled toolbox meetings
  • liaising with the Learning & Development team to ensure staff training is up to date
