Seeking a professional, enthusiastic medical receptionist to join or team, 2-3 days per week and holiday/sickness cover.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and friendly Casual Medical Receptionist to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Verify patient information and assist with billings.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
  • Provide support to medical practitioners and staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and medical office software (Best Practice).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare processes.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Friendly and empathetic demeanor towards patients.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Working Hours:
This position is casual, with flexible working hours based on the clinic's needs. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
