About The Position

The Contracts Officer at RMIT serves as a dedicated point of contact for contract management, emphasizing a service-oriented approach.

Operating within the Policy, Compliance, and Contract Management team under Governance, Legal, and Strategic Operations, the role collaborates with the Senior Contracts Coordinator to develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with contract management policies, processes, and systems at RMIT.

The focus is on delivering timely and customer-centric support, contributing to effective contract administration within the organization.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in the provision of quality administrative support in the management of contract data and/or similar systems of process management, including contract execution through secure electronic signature software.
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail, including contract data entry and contract data validation.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to operate with a high level of confidentiality. Robust skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Adobe PDF software.
  • Excellent inter-personal and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously within a fast-moving team environment.
