Your day-in-the-life as an Early Careers Talent Consultant at Optus

  • Responsible for managing the enterprise-wide Graduate Program, from onboarding to post-program placement.
  • Lead the organization of key Early Career Talent events and initiatives.
  • Establish and facilitate forums for key stakeholders to share insights and ensure program success.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with early career talent requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to utilize early career talent effectively across programs of work.
  • Enhance Optus' employer brand within the ECT community by driving awareness and recognition.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team to improve the sourcing and selection process for early careers.

Your skills to pay the bills

  • Experience in Early Careers program delivery, preferably with a focus on Tech talent.
  • Demonstrable expertise in Early Careers, Learning, Capability, and/or Talent Acquisition.
  • Strong background in Program and Project Management.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Market intelligence in recruitment practices and trends related to Early Career talent.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Behaviour, Psychology, Business, Management, or Commerce.
