As the

Practice Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day running of the clinic and ensuring the patient experience aligns with our values. You will provide high-level practice management support to our doctors, clinical, and administrative staff, whilst demonstrating leadership and encouraging teamwork and inclusion.

To be successful in this role:

  • Previous experience as a Practice Manager (essential)
  • Completion of relevant formal qualifications (well regarded)
  • An understanding or experience in general practice accreditation and standards
  • Knowledge of Medicare item numbers
  • Ability to demonstrate and encourage leadership and teamwork
  • Experience in staff inductions, training, rostering, performance reviews and the onboarding of new doctors
  • Ability to manage key expense lines to budget
  • Experience in Medicare batching, private billing, debt collection and banking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills and cultural sensitivity
  • Experience in use of social media to promote clinic
  • Understanding of Work Health & Safety and Privacy
