This disability support organization, situated in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, is looking for a Marketing Officer to become part of their team permanently. This position will involve various projects such as campaigns and providing general assistance to the marketing team in different activities.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a content strategy for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, in line with organizational objectives and target audience.
  • Produce top-notch visual content - photos and videos, showcasing the organization's events and activities.
  • Plan, film, and edit video content for different purposes such as promotional clips, client reviews, and educational materials.
  • Oversee and manage the organization's social media profiles, ensuring uniformity in branding, tone, and messaging.
  • Keep track of social media trends, audience preferences, and platform algorithms to enhance content performance and engagement.
  • Interact with followers and address comments, messages, and queries promptly and professionally.
  • Stay informed about the best practices and latest trends in social media marketing and videography.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to make use of user-generated content and encourage community involvement.
The ideal candidate should:
  • Hold tertiary qualifications or possess relevant experience in marketing or communications
  • Have demonstrated proficiency in Adobe and Canva
  • Have experience in social media management, content creation, and videography
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Possess a valid National and International Police Record Check, or be willing to apply for an updated check
