Talent Acquisition Specialist

M2P Engineering

Teneriffe, Brisbane, Qld

Casual or Fixed Term Contract - you choose

Hours of Work - up to 40 hours per week or if that's not your thing, let us know. We are happy to discuss flexibility and what is important to you.

Due being awarded a number of new contracts, we are looking for some talented people to join our People Team to help us bring new talent into our business.

As our valued Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a vital role in finding the right team members for our projects and business.

You'll draw on your passion for recruitment to engage with candidates across a variety of skill sets, trades and qualifications. As the roles we need to fill are varied and wide, we need Talent Acquisition Specialists with either 'blue collar' or 'white collar' recruitment experience or both

You'll make an impact by:

  • Having the ability to manage a high volume of vacancies at one time
  • Using your recruitment skills to implement innovative methods to reach out to candidates and keep them engaged
  • Being confident on the phone cold calling candidates from our database
  • Enjoying your success at filling vacant roles and knowing you make a difference
What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Great communication skills to be able to convey the job requirements, company culture and role expectations to candidates
  • Amazing listening skills to understand the manning and skills required on the projects and other vacant roles within the business.
  • The ability to create a positive candidate experience by understanding what is important to the candidates in their job search
  • Experience in recruitment in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Passion for finding the right person for the right role
  • Dedication to your scope of work with a desire for success

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Knowledge of the engineering and construction industry
  • Knowledge of relevant trades and skillsets within our business such as - Boilermakers, Riggers, Scaffolders, Mechanical fitters, Trade Assistants etc.
  • Generalist recruitment experience of roles such as Engineers, Schedulers, Health & Safety Advisors, Shared Services Team members etc.
  • Experience in the use of a LiveHire or other relevant candidate management tools.
