Location:

Parramatta Area Sydney NSW- Salary: $34 - $35 /hr- Work Type: Full time- Full time hours with a work/life balance- Located in Yennora, Sydney NSW- Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pmThis position as accounts receivable officer consists of preparing routine documentation and any general duties to ensure debtor accounts are being monitored.


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Recording and managing transactions involving receivables. Keeping these records uptodate and accurate is essential for smooth financial operations and future reference.
  • Managing the company's credit risk by implementing proactive credit control measures.
  • Handling the collection process efficiently to ensure timely receipt of outstanding payments.
  • Devising effective strategies to encourage customers to adhere to credit terms and promptly settle their dues.
  • Ensuring a smooth invoicing process and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Closely monitor the status of overdue invoices.
  • Maintaining effective work habits and attention to detail.
  • Contributing to the overall success of the accounts receivable function and the organisation as a whole.

Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a comparable position.
  • Prior experience in a corporate environment is essential.
  • Previous exposure to the construction industry or facility management is preferred.
  • Strong recordkeeping skills.
  • Thorough understanding of financial legislative requirement.
  • Proficiency in interpreting numerical data.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Mfg Pro and SAP.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in excel and word.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate as a team player.
  • Effective communication skills and enabling interaction with nonaccounting personnel to address and resolve issues.
