One of my clients, a leader in their industry is looking for an Accounts Receivable/Credit Control officer to join their large and friendly team in Pyrmont.


Working from home 2 days a week and with on-site parking provide, this opportunity will not be around for long.


Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with customer base to ensure prompt payment of accounts receivable and manage overdue debtor balances.
  • Ensure Credit Management Policy is followed to ensure prompt cash collection and minimised bad debt risk
  • Deliver a high level of accuracy with debtor allocations.
  • Ability to respond promptly to customer requests/credit claims in a prompt manner and follow up when required in a timely manner.
  • Attention to detail and ensuring remittance is applied and any issues are dealt with as occur.
  • Raising trade spend/ rebate approvals and entering rebates as required.
  • Aware of and responsive to changes in credit control environment including participation in industry credit control associations in Australia where feasible
  • Work closely with the Accounts team, learning the order/invoice process and be able to be a backup and assist when required.
  • Convert existing customers with nonstandard terms to standard terms
  • Manage and track the credit limits review process to ensure a quicker turnaround, simplify the process including any suggested amendments to the Credit Management Policy.
