About the Project - SA Water Capital Delivery Program:

In a JV with Guidera O'Connor, John Holland is delivering capital projects for SA Water under a four-year framework agreement for up to $500m, focused on water services across southern metropolitan Adelaide and regional areas of SA.


About the Role:


The SA Water Capital Delivery Program team are currently looking for an experienced
Environment and Approvals Advisor to join the team, based in the Corporate SA Water project office, in Adelaide CBD.


Reporting to the Environment Manager, you'll be accountable for supporting the Environment Manager with project start-up, translating conditions, ensuring work readiness and facilitating low impact early works.


Responsibilities of the role include;:

  • Provide environmental guidance, diligence and consistency to internal stakeholders
  • Provide advice and input into the identification and effective management of environmental risks.
  • Identify and initiate localised environment improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of all relevant legal, regulatory and company environmental requirements.

To be successful in the key role;:

  • Bachelor Degrees in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability or other associated disciplines
  • Experience in construction environment management (3+ years)
  • Knowledge of environmental management techniques and tools
  • Knowledge of compliance and reporting procedures and processes
