About the Company
I am representing an International developer of utility scale solar farms with multiple PV projects in Australia.

About the Role


As a Junior Project Controller, you will work closely with the project manager to support the development/construction of solar farm projects.

You will have 1-2+ years experience in a similar document control/coordination position, with renewable energy experience being valuable.

You will be comfortable using excel and the Microsoft suite and will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on project progress, expenditure and forecast to complete
  • Manage documentation for project approvals
  • Coordinate the submission of important documents
  • Develop and maintain the document project control register
  • Weekly project budget forecast meetings
  • Manage financial cycles; purchase orders, contractor payments etc
  • Assist preparing monthly finance reports

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification
  • 12+ years experience in a similar document control / project coordination position
  • Experience in renewable energy projects would be valuable
  • Strong organisational, time management and analytical qualities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment
