About the Role

LiveBetter Preschools have a reputation for empowering their communities and providing supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environments. We are seeking a Certificate III Qualified Educator (or someone working towards their qualification) to work across a number of our Preschools within the surrounds of Orange, on a permanent part time basis providing high quality early childhood education and care to children. Opportunities will be present in the communities of Spring Hill, Clergate and Nashdale, with flexible options available which could include working anywhere from 1 day per week or up to 5 days per week. Our current needs across our new sites will be:

  • Spring Hill: Mondays 8.15am – 4.30pm
  • Clergate: Tuesdays and Wednesday 8.45am – 3.30pm
  • Nashdale: Thursdays and Fridays 8.15am – 4.30pm

Some core responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Develop strong relationships with children at the service.
  • Develop strong relationships that support and partner with families and the community.
  • Attend Professional Development opportunities and Pre-School Meeting during Term Break or when advised by Management.
  • Assist in developing the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards in practice.
  • Assist with developing and implementing a play-based curriculum.

You will also be required to meet the below criteria

  • Hold a Certificate III Childrens Services (or be working towards)
  • Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with responsibilities of the role.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training.
  • Current statement of attainment for "Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk" – CHCPRT

You will be also required to undertake a national criminal history check, pre-employment health & wellness check (including drug & alcohol screening) and obtain a NSW Working with Children Check clearance.
