Position Summary

Responsibilities

  • Leads all communications and project management duties for multiple customer projects including building solutions in Domo, driving customer data maturity, and teaching best practice data strategies
  • Keep project stakeholders informed of progress, issues, and risks, while actively managing expectations on all requirements and deliverables
  • Proactively manage project risks, identify changes in scope and ensure appropriate actions are taken with internal and external stakeholders to reassess and amend the scope of work, budget and timeline
  • Designs models for the data warehouse or data mart (data structure, storage, and integration)
  • Develops, designs, and optimises data pipelines in Domo
  • Leads the database analysis, design, and build effort
  • Develop strategies for data acquisitions and integration of the new data into Domo's Data Engine

What can you bring?

  • 5+ years of experience developing business intelligence systems in a BI or ETL Developer role
  • Expert SQL skills
  • Expertise with database technologies and familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Vertica, MongoDB, etc
  • Understanding of data modelling skills (i.e., conceptual, logical and physical model design with both traditional 3rd normal form as well as dimensional modelling, such as star and snowflake)
  • Experience dealing with large data sets
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
  • Proven experience in effectively partnering with business teams to deliver their goals and outcomes
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and creativity
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to varied requirements Work independently and manage engagements with multiple customers
  • Highly skilled and confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational and project management skills Strong clientfacing presence (confident, assertive, kind, listening, articulate, professional)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science or related field preferred OR equivalent professional experience

  • Experience with scripting technologies (Java, Python, R, etc.)
  • Experience with statistical methodologies
  • Experience with a wide variety of business data (Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc)
  • Experience with Large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc)
