About the role:


The Project Administrator will be an integral and valued member of the Clinical Governance & Service Innovation team, within the Mental Health Centre of Excellence & Innovation (MHCEI) unit.


  • Support senior team members in the development and distribution of HSW strategic documents, including a new Mental Health Strategy and Action Plan.
  • Monitor compliance statistics with a Performance Evaluation Plan for clinical service delivery across the organisation.
  • Support the Clinical Governance Lead in the management of key PBEA accounts, including the Clinical Feedback, Incidents and Complaints register.
  • Provide administrative support to the MHCEI team: tracking finances, purchase orders, scheduling meetings, booking venues for group work, taking and distributing minutes and relevant team documentation.

Your duties will include:

  • Provide administrative support to the MHCEI team.
  • Manage the clinical feedback, complaints and incidents register and PBEA.
  • Support the management of finances.
  • Raising and tracking purchase orders.
  • Secretariat support to the MHCEI team and Clinical Governance Committees and others as directed.
  • Developing agendas for the meetings.
  • Provide administrative support in the development of frameworks and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain information dashboards.
  • Booking rooms and venues for training and group sessions.
  • Other duties as directed.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Be proficient with Microsoft suite of packages, in particular Excel.
  • Be able to take meeting minutes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work within a team environment.
  • Prioritise tasks to meet competing deadlines.
  • Tertiary education and / or relevant professional experience.
  • An understanding of web page development (Desirable).

Requirements and relevant information:

  • One (1) x fulltime, ongoing position available.
  • This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
