The Opportunity
As CFO you will lead the financial and management accounting of a multi-entity organisation and oversee the financial strategy for a workforce of 6000+ employees.
Responsible for a budget in excess of $2.6 billion, Communities operate from more than 160 locations across Western Australia with 79% of staff based in the Perth metropolitan area and 21% in regional offices.
Operting in a large and complex environment, a key focus of this position is strategic change in reforming financial services management accounting and financial analysis that reflect government requirements, add value, are consistent and enable transparent decisions to be made in an effective, efficient, and timely manner.
This role is integral in directing and supporting all strategic and operational matters relating to financial and management accounting support services, budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting needs and securing new funding.
Due to the size, complexity and diversity of the agency, this role demands a forward thinking leader with a track record in driving financial performance, operational excellence and strategic vision.
