Associate Director

The University of Notre Dame Australia is a private Catholic University with over 1,000 permanent staff providing an exceptional educational experience to over 12,000 students across our Fremantle, Broome, and Sydney campuses, as well as clinical schools in Victoria and New South Wales.

• Lead and manage the Commercial and Business Partner Finance Teams to deliver exceptional customer service to students, staff and the community.
• Work with the DCFO to deliver the Commercial Finance and Business Partnering functions specifically in relation to monthly financial performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, financial modelling, systems improvement, and project management.
• Assist the business to assess financial decisions for commercial viability in an appropriate level for the audience to ensure informed and robust reporting models.
• Partner with the Academic Community and Professional Service Areas in providing financial guidance and assistance to assist the University in ensuring financial sustainability to enable it to achieve its mission and vision.
• Identify and manage financial risks, develop quality assurance processes, and ensure legislative compliance within the Finance function and across Notre Dame.
• Work with the Finance leadership team to collaborate on business improvement initiatives and valueadded financial services to support Notre Dame's strategic direction.

• CA/CPA level qualifications.
• A proven record of successful leadership and management of a financial function in a large and complex organisation.
• Strategically focussed with highlevel skills in the strategic development of Monthly financial performance reporting; Budget and forecast; Financial modelling; Operational planning; Management of teams.
• Demonstrated experience in management of change at the senior level of a large and complex organisation.
• Extensive experience in leading initiatives and service delivery aligned to the University's strategic objectives.
• Creative, dynamic, innovative and willing to explore new ways of doing things and able to respond readily to changing circumstances and opportunities.
• Capable of producing and presenting high quality management information reports with an exceptional degree of accuracy.
