We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver safe, high quality and on-time construction projects for our high end clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of project scope of works, oversee budgets and review feasibility reports
  • Coordination of tradespeople on site
  • Ensure design and construction progress and expenditure align with project specifications
  • Take the lead role in the day-to-day management of on-site safety, including monitoring of site safety, completion of safety administration and a proactive approach to safety practices and rectification when required.
  • Ensure high level of communication and teamwork through direct communications and on-site meetings with site teams and clients.
  • Manage and coach staff effectively, leading the site team in achieving project and individual goals.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction or Project Management or similar
  • Experience in the management of large commercial projects, including planning, programming and the management of tradespeople and site labour.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian legislation, rules, regulations and standards relating to building sites (e.g. industrial relations, WHS and Environmental, Workcover, local government etc)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage disputes and minimise project disruptions
  • Well-developed ability to lead, coach and motivate large and complex site teams
