About the Centre/Service
Our Centre Evesham Road Kinder is a contemporary sessional kindergarten located in Cheltenham. With newly renovated facilities, both inside and outside, our environments provide children and educators an incredible space for learning. We have 2 large rooms and a shared natural outdoor space. The spaces are supported with ample facilities for storage, cleaning and preparation.

We also have a fully equipped and fully stocked shared kitchen where culinary possibilities are limited only by your (and the children's) imagination.

Each group has a total of 22 children with an ECT and co-educator. We also have an additional float educator when needed, to lower ratios to support the children and teachers.

We have three 4-year-old groups and two 3-year-old groups, so there is always a group of people to support each other and share ideas.

Our Team We have a diverse team with a range of experience from all different types of early childhood education backgrounds.

We value each other's knowledge and expertise and work as a team to reflect on and constantly improve practice.

On top of our monthly staff meetings, each group has their own dedicated workspace in the office which means groups are able to get together to plan side by side.

We also have regular staff social events where we get to unwind and talk about things other than work We're a really energetic, passionate and friendly team so we're looking for someone to join a fun and collaborative dynamic.

Description

  • We're looking for a passionate educator to join our Wattle group. The group already has an incredible teacher who has seen the year off to a brilliant start.

Mondays and Thursdays:
8am-5pm (Session time: 8:30am-4:30pm)

Alternating Wednesdays:
Collaborative planning time with the Wattle Teacher

About you:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
  • Recent First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
