The opportunity


The Grounds and Garden Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing onsite gardening and maintenance duties and ensuring the achievement of contract requirements and improvements for continuous effective service delivery.


Manage the scheduling and supervision of all contracted works ensuring control of labour and material costs and liaise with contract manager for additional expenditure.

Assist in the development of quoted works and the compiling and submission of any required reports.


Act as a point of contact for all on-site client enquiries for the contract, provide onsite guidance and customer service to the client for scheduling and status of both maintenance and quoted works.

Ensure staff have and wear appropriate PPE gear and operate all equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and in a responsible manner.


Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the client to ensure issues, work standards, work improvements and work related reporting is of a high standard.

Vaccination Requirements


This is a NSW Health Category A position, which requires immunisation the full list of vaccinations outlined in the NSW Health OASV Policy.


COVID-19 Vaccination Compliance


All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).

New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

The Staff Health Team will access your AIR record if needed, please advise if you prefer the team not to view your vaccination record.
