Our client is a vital part of the Kurri Kurri Community Services Group - Hunter Commercial Services, dedicated to empowering individuals, groups, and families by providing top-notch services and programs. Hunter Commercial Services operates as a successful social enterprise, with nearly two-thirds of the workforce consisting of individuals with disabilities.

The Lead Supervisor plays a crucial role in the success of this social enterprise by effectively managing operations, staff, and clients. Responsibilities include overseeing commercial cleaning and grounds maintenance contracts.

The Role:

  • Ensure contracts are completed efficiently
  • Maintain safety standards on all projects
  • Manage work rosters and schedules
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Effective asset management
  • Handle workforce management and customer communication
  • Assist with some accounts administration

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proficient in commercial cleaning and/or grounds maintenance best practices
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example
  • Skilled in supervising a diverse team, including individuals with disabilities
  • Strong administrative, timesheet management, and invoicing abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for team and client interactions
