Hobsons Bay City Council is offering an exciting opportunity for three motivated individuals to join the Parks Department as Conservation Team Members.

Two of these position are permanent full time, while one position is a fixed term position till February 2024.

Main tasks include pest and weed management, revegetation, planting and habitat management.

  • Previous experience and skills in conservation and environmental management practices;
  • Experience in operating a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment.
  • Have great communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • The physical capabilities to perform manual tasks;
  • A strong commitment to safety;
  • Qualification in Natural Resource Management or Environmental Science preferred;
  • A full drivers licence.
