Our opportunities will lead you to diverse pathways

We presently have an opening in our south western region for a Safety Business Partner to join our SQE team, based in Perth, WA. (Flexibility on location is possible for the right candidate.)

What will be your responsibilities?

Collaborating with all divisions of the SA/WA teams to enhance safety practices encompassing the installation, modernization, and maintenance of elevators, escalators, and doors;

  • Enhancing safety performance and fostering a safety-oriented culture
  • Achieving KONE's safety objectives through nurturing a safety-focused culture
  • Supervising the timely delivery of internal and external safety reports
  • Leading pivotal projects with an emphasis on continuous enhancement
  • Facilitating the dissemination of safety-related information across the business unit, sharing investigation findings and best practices
  • Implementing processes and protocols efficiently for subcontractor safety management
  • Outlining safety targets for budgets and long-term planning, subject for approval by the line management.
  • Actively engaging with staff to provide coaching, mentoring, and safety training
  • Playing a central role in key workers' compensation decisions and overseeing injury management and return-to-work coordination

What qualifications are we seeking?

  • Appropriate certification (WHS Degree, Diploma, or Cert 4 in safety or equivalent experience).
  • Experience acquired in a commercial setting – ideally in industries such as construction, electrical, chemical, or transportation
  • Effective communication with individuals and teams – adept at engaging and facilitating training sessions
  • Prior exposure to workers' compensation matters is highly beneficial
  • Capability to coach, mentor, and intervene to assist stakeholders in meeting set standards
  • A valid driver's license to fulfill onsite and meeting requirements
