Our client, a highly regarded mental health clinic, has an opportunity for an experienced receptionist to join the team on permanent part time basis.


This is an exciting opportunity to join the small team and assist with the smooth and efficient running of all day to day operations of a busy practice.

Reporting to the Practice Manager you will provide quality administration support and superior customer service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Welcome and greeting patients both in person and over the phone
  • Handling all enquiries in a courteous, prompt and professional manner
  • Managing patient appointments
  • Performing recall and reminder call duties where necessary for scheduled appointments and results
  • Manage and update patient files
  • Update and monitor patient referrals
  • Coordination of internal and external appointments for the Specialist including meetings, official commitments and other professional activities
  • Liaise with sales representatives
  • Ordering office supplies
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working in a Medical setting
  • Experience utilising medical software, Genie would be an advantage
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Professional, caring and friendly attitude
