Medical Receptionist

As the Medical Receptionist at Sydney Skin, you'll be at the forefront of their operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly for patients and staff.

About the role:

  • Provide outstanding customer service through written, phone, and facetoface interactions.
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all patient interactions.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail in all communications to ensure accuracy in administrative tasks and patient documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
  • Manage tasks efficiently and prioritise responsibilities effectively to accomplish objectives within specified time frames.
  • Answer phone calls courteously and professionally to record and convey messages accurately.
  • Schedule appointments and assist in patient billing processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area.

About you:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and positive approach to tasks and challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Uphold confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism at all times.
  • Previous reception experience in a busy medical practice, preferably in a multidoctor setting.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent patient care and adhering to best practices.
