The role
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will lead a small, experienced team and be accountable for Sunwater's Resilience Framework, including the following key elements:
- Sunwater's compliance with the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (Cwlth) ('SOCI Act') and maturing of processes and practices under Sunwater's Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Plan (CIRMP);
- Sunwater's Business Continuity Management System; and
- Sunwater's Crisis Management System.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Enhancing Sunwater's business resilience awareness, knowledge and capabilities by providing expert advice
- Ensuring alignment with Sunwater policies, relevant standards, regulatory and other external / internal requirements and support the organisation in ongoing facilitation and enhancement of business resilience systems and compliance systems.
- Producing and managing clear, high quality reporting, including status reports, steering committee and Board presentations, as required.
Please note that due to the nature of this role, there will be ad hoc travel to Sunwater regional facilities.
About you
Sunwater is looking for someone with proven experience in the development and execution of crisis management and business continuity management systems. Furthermore, you will hold tertiary qualifications in relevant post-graduate qualification(s) and industry certification(s) and have strong organisation skills with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive business continuity and business resilience experience gained through working in a corporate/government/industrial environment with physical assets.
- Experience in the management of change within an established and geographically dispersed organisation.
- Ability to provide strategic insight and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
