Front of House Waiting Staff URGENT for immediate hiring


GAMI is looking for passionate, dynamic experienced and exceptional individual to join our front of house (FOH) waiting staff on a full time basis or part time basis(rotating roster).

This role will be based in our new Oran Park location. In this role, you will be reporting to the store manager.

GAMI Chicken & Beer is arguably the pioneer of Korean Chicken & Beer culture.

We take pride in not only having the most authentic Korean Fried Chicken and a whole range of exciting creation by Head Chef Rio Yoon.

We also strive to provide our customers an awesome and relaxing casual dining experience.

GAMI have strong tradition to promote within and fast-tracking worthy individuals who wish to have a growing career within our organisation.

Role and Responsibility (training will be provided)

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, making them feel welcome and tending to their needs.
  • Assist customers by determining their food interests and needs (particularly if they have any allergies or diet requirements).
  • Educate customers by presenting and explaining the menu.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organisation standards and sanitation regulations.
  • Process orders, operate a POS system, handle cash and payment queries.
  • Perform inventory work (stock check, ordering stock etc.,).
  • Participate in local marketing work (distributing flyers, in store décor etc.,).

Please note that this role has the potential to develop into a managerial position in which you may be undertaking higher duties in the future.

Essential Skills and Certificates

  • Alcohol Services (RSA certification required before commencing work).
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of previous experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
  • A passion for food and providing an enjoyable customer experience.
  • A team player who thrives in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proactive approach in ensuring our restaurant is clean, tidy, fully stocked and accessible for all.

Availability
Urgent requirements You will need to be available to work part time or casual basis(rotating roster), occasional double shift. You must be eligible to work in Australia to be considered for this role. The ability to commence work immediately will be viewed favourably. Probational period of 3 months.
