Ranges from $37.02 to $56.99 per hour - qualification and experience dependent

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy.

You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive.

Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you're achieving optimal outcomes for children.


About Goodstart Port Road Cheltenham:

  • Goodstart Early Learning Cheltenham Port Road is situated in Adelaide's west, near the northern beaches of Adelaide. Caters for 112 children, catering to all early learning age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Port Road Cheltenham opened in mid2018, the constructed early learning centre features six large and spacious learning spaces. All agebased learning spaces have lovely natural light and direct access to the naturebased outdoor spaces. Their beautiful outdoor dining hub connects the learning spaces to the playground and provides a shaded, outdoor dining space for all children and educators. Their onsite kitchen with childheight servery allows the centre cook to serve and interact with the children and engage in cooking and preparing meals.
  • The centre is committed to creating a warm and welcoming community focused centre. They look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all our families and children.

You'll need:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Current SA Teachers Registration
  • Current SA Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
