Cyber Project ManagerSydney CBD Fringe (with WFH flexibility 2-3 days per week)Initial 6-month contract likely to extend$1,150 per day (flexible for the right candidate)$12 per day staff parking availableA Leading Entertainment Organisation is currently looking for a Cyber Security Project Manager to join their team. This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension.Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management
  • Oversee large-scale SaaS and API monitoring projects.
  • Collaborate with vendors to enhance monitoring capabilities and review SOC capacity.
  • Manage onboarding and cyber capability uplift of a subsidiary.
  • Review and potentially implement new threat and vulnerability management tools.
Technical Oversight
  • Monitor API security and operations, focusing on Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Handle threat and vulnerability management processes and tools.
Experience
  • Proven experience managing cyber projects in a mature, large-scale organization.
  • Practical experience in cyber operations and implementations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with security monitoring, SIEM technologies, and vulnerability management.
Skills and Attributes
  • Strong project management and governance skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from inception to completion.
Current Projects
  • Onboarding of a subsidiary: Concept approved, awaiting project manager to take full ownership.
  • SaaS and API monitoring: Vendor engaged, work yet to commence.
  • Threat and vulnerability management review: In the planning phase.
