As the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, scoping, and delivering Lean Manufacturing initiatives to develop a best practice culture by designing and implementing new training materials and programs as well as engaging in industrial specific projects.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key accountabilities include:

  • Developing strategies, plans and actions for the organisation to implement a quality process management system
  • Leading improvement activities for frontline business and providing mentorship and training to key stakeholders
  • Implementing key improvement projects as well as engaging in identifying opportunities for both improvements and cost reduction initiatives for the organisation

About you

  • High exposure to Lean manufacturing and leadership experience ideally in reinforcing steel or building products. High regard will be given to a background in training and change initiatives and guiding a business through process change
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to engage with all levels of management and employees
  • Proven ability to observe, coach and provide feedback with excellent personal organisational and planning skills
