Dental One is looking for a full-time bookkeeper to join our growing team

Dental One is a family-owned, forward-thinking company that owns and operates an extensive network of Dental Clinics across Melbourne.

Renowned for our commitment to providing high-quality dental services to the community, we're currently expanding our team with the addition of an experienced Bookkeeper.


Role Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and correct recording of all financial transactions.
  • Management of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other necessary lodgments, adhering to tax regulations.
  • Accurate processing of fortnightly payroll within defined timelines.
  • Monitoring and maintaining dataautomation platforms used for bill entries and purchase orders.
  • Ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining organized financial records.
  • Effective communication with colleagues across all levels within the organization.
  • Providing adhoc reporting as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
  • Proficiency in Xero, with intermediatelevel knowledge.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional communication skills and team collaboration ability.
  • Proactive approach in identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing.
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience working with multiple companies or entities is a plus.
