Dental One is looking for a capable person to join our growing team and assist with bookkeeping and accounts payable

Dental One is a family-owned, forward-thinking company that owns and operates an extensive network of Dental Clinics across Melbourne. Renowned for our commitment to providing high-quality dental services to the community, we're currently expanding our team with the addition of an experienced Bookkeeper.

**Role Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and correct recording of all financial transactions.
- Check supplier statements and make payments
- Assist with preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Monitoring and maintaining data-automation platforms used for bill entries and purchase orders.
- Ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining organized financial records.
- Effective communication with colleagues across all levels within the organization.
- Providing ad-hoc reporting as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in Xero, with intermediate-level knowledge.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional communication skills and team collaboration ability.
- Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Experience working with multiple companies or entities is a plus.
