Commencing in Term for 12 months, Scotch College seeks to appoint a teacher who has relevant tertiary qualifications and experience to the role of Class Music Teacher - Junior School.


This fixed term full time position will involve class teaching in the Junior School music program within the Scotch College Music School.


The successful applicant will have:
- a passion for music education
- a strong background in Kodaly pedagogy and some knowledge of Orff pedagogy
- empathy and understanding of primary aged children
- experience working in a classroom setting
- the ability to build strong relationships and work as part of a team
- the ability to implement inclusive strategies that engage and support all students
- innovative thinking and creativity

Piano and accompaniment skills are also essential.
