**About the role**

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic PE/Sport Teacher to deliver high quality classes to our students.

**This is a full-time leave replacement role commencing as of Term 1, 2024 for a fixed period until the end of Term 3, 2024.**

**Responsibilities and Criteria include**:
Enthusiasm and experience in teaching physical education.
Interpersonal and organisational skills.
A detailed knowledge and understanding of the curriculum for PE/Sport.
A professional team approach to teaching.
Commitment to Before School Sport Academy.
Understanding how assessment and evaluation promotes learning.
Ability to adapt to creative learning environments where individuals feel secure and valued while being challenged to define and pursue their own interests.
Identifying, reflecting and implementing good practice in teaching.
Communicating openly and effectively with peers, students and parents.

**Skills and Experience**:
Current VIT registration.
Experience in teaching physical education.
An understanding of relevant Curriculum and varying teaching methodologies.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and confidence in working with students, staff and parents.
Competency with digital technologies.
